Well, my Z8 wheels were sent to HRE about a month ago to get a larger outer lip, thus making the offset more agressive. THey pushed the face inboard about .5 inches, giving me a .5 larger outer lip and .5" smaller inner lip. Upon removing my wheels, they noticed that the tires were flat spotted and notified me immediately. They called around because the tires were on back order and located a set for me. In the meantime, they also told me that the centers were scratched. They offered to refinish them at no charge, which they did. They also took extra time/care to rebalance the wheels. THey really went above and beyond, were in constant contact with me and wnted to make sure I was satisfied. In essense what I have are two brand new rear wheels and they did it all at their cost. It really shows they care and put the customer first............Kudos to HRE and GUY A, what a quality operation they run

Glad you were taken care of. Guy is a reasonable person... and has helped others I know.

I wouldn't say that for HRE in general though...

I will never buy nor recommend their wheels again... In my opinion they DON'T stand behind their products nor their dealers..

Comments made by one of their employees to me over the phone were highly offensive and unprofessional. I can tell you now, if the smart *** remarks were made to my face (People have larger ***** on the phone or in email) that person would have needed a plastic surgeon...

 

It took them so long to make my wheels, around 10-12 weeks instead of the 6weeks regular time.

Lou: right now I am running 22x9.5, are they able to make changes to 22x10? Will it be a lot of additional cost?

 

One look at you in person and I bet they would have gotten you fixed up on the double.
