I love Ferrari, they are fun to look at and they make a lot of great noise but they aren't that fast and you would think if someone went to the trouble of coming up with enough money to buy one, they might have invested a few minutes of that time trying to figure out what exactly it was they were buying. The guy had it coming in spades and this thread was teh funney. Certainly not representative of the entire Ferrari owners community I'm sure but damn funney and equally harmless.

Relax drbill, no one is complaining about the centerfold washing the 355 in your sig now are they.

Notice the hottie isn't washing a 348. Dr Bill found one of those pictures but the model was pushing 250lbs.

Man what a jackass. Paid all that money for a name sake. I watched the Best Motoring episode between the Corvette Z06, Porsche 996 turbo, Nissan Skyline R34, and Lambo Gallardo, and guess who walked away from them ALL. The turbo was untouchable

You must have missed the best motoring video between the Gallardo, NSX-R, Murcielago, M3 CSL, 996 Turbo and 360 Modena. The Turbo was one of the last cars to finish, Yep their will always be someone faster if not 10x faster, does it mean you bought a Porsche just because it has a Porsche logo on the wheel and it says Turbo in the back? No, you bought a Porsche because you like the car; you are a fan an enthusiast. I don't think Ferrari owners are the stereotypes that they are being portrayed as in this post. Yes there is a few, like the guy who said his 360 will blow the doors off anything out there, which is obviously a fantasy.

The thing got me laughing was in european car issue June 2005 there is an article with a guy who thinks his 360 modena has 490bhp and a 215mph top speed! All with a challenge exhaust and a chip, what a joke.

10X faster than a 996 TT. This I gotta see. I have a Ferrari and one thing that Ferrari owners do not talk about is speed because these cars just ain't that fast, unless you got an Enzo or CS. My 355 is actually pretty boring to drive comparatively speaking, but it sure does look cool and sound sweet.

BTW, link over to the best motoring video. I would like to see.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I ment 10x faster "out there" not exactly in that video. Yeah I agree with you, the 355 is a 10 year old design, it was rls'd summer of 1994, back then 4.6 sec 0-60 was FAST! really Fast!. Now day's Ferrari's pretty much stay in the 4.4-4.5 0-60 sec range, I won't even talk about 1/4 cause these car's are not about that. If I want brutal power I wouldn't buy a Ferrari. I would get a 996TT or a Viper and Modify it. I think Ferrari hit the spot with the F430, it has the best of both world's the legendary Ferrari feel and handling with the power of a true sports car.
