Track day media thread
Had some fun yesterday at the 1/4mile track. With temperatures in the high 90's, and 2000-2300ft DA, times were a bit slower than most of us wanted to see. We got home safely and my car was in one piece. Unfortunately a rock cracked my windshield on the way home.
Since adding bigger injectors, I was trying to dial in some boost settings for Ti coming up in the fall. But as I turned it up, the tires would spin. The track was well prepped but my R888's wouldn't hook even at 18psi. Here is a vid of 2 - 1/4 mile attempts and 2 - 60-130's. Soft launches were my goal as you can see by my 2.3 and 2.4 60' times. I was able to trap 147 with little traction.
My 60-130's were done in 3rd from around 35mph. Notice the tires breaking loose as soon as the turbos kicked in around 65mph. I would let off each time. I managed a 6.5 60-130 while spinning. But pulled a 5.5s 60-130 from a quarter mile run with 2 shifts go figure.
Mullet finally received his UR TTSL (Gray one pictured below) and ran Mid 11's at 163mph traps.

I accidentally ran once with PSM on after my car died rolling into the beams. I forgot to turn it off quickly and PSM grabbed me all the way down the track. Ended up with a 141 trap though.
