Any experience with the AM Vanquish?

I'm thinking of buying a used one. I've heard rumors of the transmission having problems, but nothing concrete. Does anyone have first hand experience with one?

Thanks,
Steve

I've heard of problems with the transmission. There is one that has been at my local AM dealer for about 3-5 months waiting for clutch replacement. It could be this dealership, because I haven't had good experience with them either (thank god I don't have an AM anymore).

2004 Had ECU issues, now a friend of mine has both a 2005 Vanquish and a Vanquish "S" and they are great. Buy it right on the 2004 he took a 90k hit

I already have dibs on the first ride. Get one with an extended warranty and forget it. The car matches your taste in watches to a T, if you buy the gallardo I am going to send you a fake Rolex president from canal street. ::

gt2next is infamous around these parts
they are slow and overweight, plus not much torque. drive one and then drive a maranello.....you won't be thinking about a vanquish anymore.
