ATL97gts is infamous around these parts
Chinese manufacturing isn't bad, as long as there is a reputible company monitoring manufacturing processes and component quality. No-name stuff will perform just like a $500 no-name Chinese scooter of Chinese 4 wheeler. Without the QC of a company, thier "home grown" stuff is absoute junk.

To be honest about home grown Chinesse companies , from what we seen so far , the exhausts almost fit and they make a kind of sound. But the lack o engineering is very obvious. But let s not fill the topic about it

Thumbs up

I'm very excited to try this system out. I believe in a sub $2000 system for piping under 3ft. these other companies out there you know who you are charging crazy money for junk is annoying. Hopefully I'll have Felix make a y pipe for under 600 dollars cause a y pipe for over a thousand is insane... Thoughts Felix?

did you ever get this installed? i'd be really curious to hear feedback, good or bad. I can tell from this thread that a lot of people are butt-hurt after having spent $2k+ on some mufflers, but if this ends up being a well made exhaust, then hopefully it will drive some of the prices down.

Also, a 996tt isnt exactly an expensive car anymore.. a $600 exhaust on a car worth under $60k seems reasonable to me. If you're driving a brand new $120k 997.2tt i can understand putting a $2000 exhaust on it.

There was a post a few pages back simply saying it didn't fit and was sent back for refund.

Not to sound like a dick but no pic, no explanation of what didn't fit etc. kinda sounds like a bit of a shady answer. Did you get a discount from somebody to put another exhaust down and never really ordered it?

I'm sure the answer is no, but kinda makes one wonder...

. Dude it's a piece of crap not worth my time. It didn't fit take it for what it is or try it yourself big boy. I beta tested it my mechanic was going to charge me hundreds to make it work. Plus it didn't even have the resonators they misrepresented having.

Calm down dude. No pics, no explanation of what didn't fit = no review. Other guys here have exhausts from M2 on other cars with no complaints. Just saying a proper review needs to be done.

the beautiful thing about sixspeed is the consumer based knowledge, the been there, done that mentally. to some it may come across rough, but its really for information. the cheapest exhaust anyone is going to find for a TT is ___________, and that is not talking about price... the market has a hand full of fairly priced exhaust, and if one looks here they can find it used.. good luck to anyone that wants to put any aftermarket part on a porsche.. there's a reason its expensive to start off with..

Mike I agree with most of that but I still believe we pay a premium, Porsche tax,
over most other makes after market part prices. Just my opinion.
