Yup, I drove right next to two 997 TT test vehicles. Both were a very deep blue with a great deal of masking on them. Wheels were mismatched.

No sunroof and the cars had Georgia plates on them. Two people in each car and they were conversing via radio with on another. I started to take pics and they raced off. Sorry for the poor quality.

They are out there. It will be interesting to see if they produce a 997 GT2. Personally, I would be up for the 997 TT if there was not going to be at 997 GT2. Of course, I would wait a year for the production bugs to be ironed out.

Its a rolling billboard just like the M5's there were spotted a year ago in the same area. They love when these pictures get out there. Creates buzz and hype. Good for business. Has nothing to do with the release of the car.

maybe that's somewhat true, but in general all the car companies test a lot in the canyons here because this is a huge market for cars and it has some unique conditions.

 

Is the aerokit out for the 997 yet? I swear I saw what looked like the pics of the 997 GT3's running around Dallas today....

 

A lot of tape holding that rear quarter panel on.....do you think it's part of the disguise?
