Was the standard used Actual, Standard Corrected, SAE J1439 rev 1990 or bhp? Do you have hp and torque numbers for the rpm range. How about average hp and torque? What bar was run to attain those numbers?

Congraduations.

Buddy,

Without knowing what standard is being used the figures could be all over the place. As an example, if you had 700 hp at rear wheels with:

SAE J1349 rev June90, you would have 700 hp.

SAE Standard Corrected, you would have approx. 750 hp.

bhp, you would have aprox. 707 hp

actual, could be all over the place depending on temperature, barometric pressure and humidity. 680-750???

The above figures would all be the same hp, however it is very deceptive unless you know the standard being used. Most tuners like to use the Standard Corrected because it makes their numbers "look" better.

If they are using the same standard as last time it does give a good indication of the gains made, but that is about it. People cannot compare dyno numbers without knowing what standard is being compared.

Chad,

At this point all I know was that it was done using SAE J1349 just like before. I have not seen any graphs, etc...

From the first Dyno run they have picked up 60 hp measured at all four wheels. That is pretty much all I know at this point. Hopefully they will be done soon and I will have graphs and boost numbers, etc..

When I know the board will know.
