I'd love to hear more about the engine failure. Would you keep this post updated as things progress... BTW, I can feel your pain... Had my tt since september and it's been in a shop for 7 of the approx. 10 months I've had it.

car is at RAC Performance for an engine swap. Hans was very quick in helping me out, very impressed. Was told car would be ready in two weeks fingers crossed.

Sadly I was turned off completely from rac when I drove a 996 they had for sale.

I know the service department is different, I just haven't been back. I do most of my own wrenching. In fact I'm getting ready to put a lift in my garage.

I say all that and even today my car is in a shop getting a new fpr and bigger injectors swapped in.

Waiting patiently for arrival of new motor. Should be a week and a half to go. Fingers crossed that everything goes well.
