I know this is the 996 section, but it is also where I have done 80% of my posting and where many of my friends post. Having said that, who has received this PM from Administration? Will all of our private avatar pictures be removed? If so, this ^ is a terrible idea.

We are preparing to roll out a new Photo Galleries feature on 6SpeedOnline, with various improvements to uploading and browsing. As part of this upgrade, we will no longer support private images.

We have noticed that you have private images, which will not be migrated to our new system. The instructions below only affect your albums that are marked as private.

Please perform one of the following actions before September 1st, 2013 by going to UserCP -> Pictures & Albums: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/usercp.php

1. If you wish to migrate these images to the new Photo Galleries, please edit the corresponding Albums and mark them as "Public". Please be aware that this will make these pictures visible to the entire community.

2. If you wish to retain these images for yourself only, simply go to the URL above, click on the respective albums and images, and right-click to Save the picture files to your computer.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

May be it has to do with private images and not open to the forum to view ?

 

i read it as pics or albums that are "private" rather than "public". not avatar pics. but who knows
