How to identify genuine Ruf wheels

I have a 2002 996TT - it came with a set of 19" Ruf wheels and I'm wondering if they are the real thing. Are there any markings on the wheels that would confirm their authenticity?

They will have RUF Automobile made in Italy stamped on the back spokes. The fronts must be 19x8.5 ET56 and rears are 19x11 ET70, all stamped on the back of the wheel. For the 996TT, RUF used a 7mm RUF spacer in the front and a 35mm adapter (w/ studs) in the rear.

I second that. You'll see the RUF stamp on the back side of the spokes. Those 7MM hubcentric spacers are an ABSOLUTE MUST if you don't want to have your fillings rattled loose from ill fitment vibrations

They match the description in every way but one - no Ruf stamp. The spacers are of the correct dimensions and stamped with the Ruf logo. Wheels are the correct sizes, with the following markings - made in Italy- not original equipment, size information, but no Ruf logo.
They are not the ebay wheels as they have a different spoke shape at the outer end that matches the Ruf design.

It depends of the type of RUF wheels, the Forged, lightweight ones, made by APP-Tech for Ruf, has no Ruf markings, just the APP markings, these are the wheels for late Ruf cars.,cheers, Sonny.

Do the wheels have the Ruf center cap? I think the hole size in the center of the wheel is different on the replicas, therefore the replicas typically do not have Ruf center caps.

If the wheels are et56 front and et70 rear then they are real. No other wheels have these funky RUF offsets

Thank you all for the replies - They have the Ruf center caps, the odd offset, 7mm and 38mm genuine RUF hubcentric spacers. They're definitely not lightweight but look great on the car.
I'll try and take/post some pictures of the car and the wheels in the next few days.
