1.4 is a lot of boost for 5th and 6th gear loads on pump fuel.

when i ran 1.55bar on stock motor i never ever did 5th gear pulls and my motor stayed together. gotta reinforce some stuff to push big power in 5th and 6th. yeah piston most likely will not show any damage on top in this situating since the rod caused the failure, on sides it will have some damage.

I did zillions of full 5th gear pulls at 1.4 bar on Stock motor. second fuel pump, larger modded fuel rails, K24-18g's with a variety of fuels. On pump fuel I would only run 1.0-1.1 bar.

im not saying people should or shouldn't do 5th gear pulls lol. I didnt because my car was making way more power then a 18G car and i wanted to last. high load and high boost will break stock rods, fact.

The plug on the blown cyl is peppered, or the carbon deposits on the plug are chipped while the other plugs are normal.

The piston is deep inside the cyl away from the head and seems seized.

If that's the case and the engine still turns, the rod must be obliterated and in small enough pieces that its not jamming things up.
