Ask Tony for the redline. He is the only one who knows it. Listen to what he says and wants.

I will have a full data log from 3000 to 7000rpm.
Listen to what your tuner wants. He said 2000 - for a reason. Don't hit the limiter.

Good news i have the new MAF sensor in and im so glad to say its fixeddddddd lol.
You had a fuel leak, right? What happened to fix this?

By the way my spool went even faster in 3rd gear i was fully spooled at 2500rpm is that right?
Like I said. Your spoolup was way too late. Do your log and post it here.

No reason for colder plugs. New plugs may be in order - depending on how many miles you have on the old ones.

You need to read more carefully I said it was too late. Now it could be ok - only the log will tell. The display doesn't mean much. It tells you 1.1 bar when you exceed 1.0.

How can a fuel leak in the engine compartment be fixed by a new fuel cap?

Return line fitting was leaking very little now fixed and gas cap o ring was completely toast.

Fixed the small leak by the diverter hose and that was it now i here that a Y pipe is something to do???? Will do the data log with layinback when he comes here so he can watch it while we do the runs.

Think about it or a second. The Y pipe delivers compressed air to the throttle body and then your intake and then to your intake ports.

Your MAF was probably going on the blink because you were delivering pressurized air at a rate greater than the MAF can handle.

Why would you want more air delivery ...... unless you are planning to modify many other parts (much more money) to obtain more power.

Remember, the whole is no more powerful than the weakest link. In other words, you need to design (blueprint) your complete system so as to avoid mods that do little to nothing.

what cjv is trying to say to you is as long as you stay with a 5v maf system adding larger y pipes, t/b, etc.and adding more air wont help you in the long run. going to a higher voltage maf system or running a mafless setup is what the experienced builders who have more power use. the 5v oem setup can only handle so much.

i would suggest if your car is running properly now do some DURAMETRIC logs using a 3rd gear pull from 2000 rpm to 7000 rpm and send them to tony. NOT 3000 TO 6500 OR 6800 OR 5500!! dont add anything but gas and drive the car lettimg the new file adapt and see what YOUR TUNER thinks off the cars performance. use his files until he is satisfied the car is at its optimal performance for the mods you have. upgrade from there.

this is how tuning is done. listen to what im saying or dont.

..and there it is.. there's a reason mods when done correctly are referred to as "matched components".

theres is the hitachi maf upgrade but tune has to support it. but you have one of the best tuners assisting you. i'll ( try ) to shut up. many folks say though the proto mafless tune is the state of ( our lol ) art for modded car. i keep putting it off ( the $1500-1800? cost ) now that i have learned how NOT to fry my maf. i think once you learn that you may also be ok. well maybe......? lol ( kidding )

I have this same setup and im not having maf issues. Tony scales the maf for his tunes. Go get a brand new maf brand new stock air filter and a set of bosch 710n diverter valves and youll be good. If you want faster spool you need inlet pipes immediately. I spool 800rpms quicker with USP inlet pipes and an AP y pipe. My car feels NA no lag

Yup that sounds good ohh it was not Tonys tune that cause the maf blow up. It was the EVOMS intake and cold weather i believe. Ohh ok i will get a Ypipe also. Right now i spooled fully at 2500rpm in 3rd gear the torque just pulls you back.
