996 rear spoiler repair - need pump

Hello,

My rear spoiler on my 03 TT failed because of the plastic block breaking that is located inside the pump housing. The worm drive operates the plastic block to extend the pistons. I've attached a photo. By chance would any of you have the pump assembly, not the rams, that you are no longer using for a reasonable price? I don't need a working pump motor, just the piston assembly.

Thanks much for your consideration,
Tim

Very cool. Anyone know why this fracture occurs in the first place?

I think it could happen from a bad limit switch or low hydraulic fluid. If the motor doesn't get the signal to stop it would keep turning until something breaks.

That would make sense. I did bleed the ram that was operated by the failed side of the pump and there was air in this part of the system.
