Sadly I'm watching my 800 go to 700 and slowly die off to 625 or somewhere in the bottom end of that lol

I guess there is no really "reliable" build once in the 600's… seeming it would be best to just avoid the k16's and alpha k28's to lessen the stress and go with something that won't hit as hard but still give the power I'm looking for like 3071's?
A28s are reliable and will supply you with great high end torque where the K16s fall off. 550-600awhp in a 996TT is nothing to brush off - there are awesome machines.

If I were to upgrade from my 93oct.18g setup,, 600rwhp, I would go with 3071s..
But if I was into a fast hard low hit I would go with A28s then.

I appreciate all the info.

Now, A28s or 3071's are the question I'm left with. my only concern is the stress that A28s are known to cause on the rods from such a hard hit… Guess I could always tune it for low torque where its really needed.

Still reviewing Randy's thread… some great info especially with the Proefi info.

91 octane and you were running all day at 1.6 bars on stock internals? WHATTTTTTT

If you dont have ARP studs i just dont see that happening not matter what kind of high octane your running. These heads will start lifting at 1.5 bars and up but at 1.8 bars stock motor? No way but i love to see a dyno at 1.8 bars on stock head studs lol.

I was talking with a local tuning shop a few days ago and telling them my plans for a build and they warned me against meth due to not being able to control the correct amount that is making its way into the cylinders and that its been know to cause issues with only 2 cylinders cooling and the rest of the motor still continuing to run hot. was warned that I would not be able to completely tell unless I was running the Proefi

Any thoughts on this?

I dont trust meth. Just run this setup....

16g billets or 18gs
72 pound injectors
70 mm exhaust
2 1/2 inch Y-Pipe
Upgraded intercoolers and boost hoses
1.5 bars of boost
EPL Tune or Markski 911 tuning

You will be around 580whp and you will be very happy at 700 crank hp anything more then that crap will start breaking on you.

On pump gas? My buddy made 532whp on just 1.1 to 1.2 bars with all supporting mods at forged.
