Saw a few guys in 996TT at the track pulling their tires. Any information on the hitch and system would be appreciated.

Maybe. I saw a much simpler hitch at the track. Was literally a plate that mounted to the tabs where the bumperettes attach to.

You may have seen a Willwood. I think he has a couple options but by far the best is the hidden hitch. It's what I have/use. When not in use, everything is completely hidden. Took about 3 hours for me to get everything installed including the wiring.

Many have tried to locate alternatives, but when I looked into this a couple years ago I wasn't able to find any that were as straightforward and well thought out as Will's.

If you haven't done so already, check out his web site (willwoodsystem.com) and give him a call. He may no longer be making them but its worth a try.

Trailer hitch on a 996...that's funny! I was just thinking the other day it would be cool if I could pull my twin Sea Doo trailer to the boat ramp! But then again, that's what my Duramax is for...lol
