Not really. I had my mechanic arrange with the body shop and there was a few week delay when everybody refused to do it because it was fiberglass. So I went over and we mocked it up. Once they saw how well it already looked, they shut up and prepped it.

It comes sanded and prepped but it needs to be prepped again by the shop and then the process of painting fiberglass, but prep work was minimal. The only other spot that needed slight tweaking was one of the cutouts for the side markers. They did no modifications to anything on my car to fit the bumper. I think my mechanic did fab up some sort of bracket to hold the gt2 air dam.

The only downsides is that the stock piece that directs the air to the center radiator doesn't fit quite right and it's easier to see through the side cutouts and the pieces behind it don't match up flush there either. I should note those would be present on any gt2 bumper so it's not a PP issue and doesn't even show up in pictures.

Overall I'm very happy with the product. When you consider its a fiberglass mold, I'm not sure how the fitment could have been much better out of the box for this type of product.

Thanks, man. Love Lapis. Yes the painter did a great job. I think he had four or five samples that he sprayed and compared before spraying it. Very reasonable price on the paint job too.

Here's my Precision Porsche Bumper. I installed it myself and that took about 2hrs. I was professionally prepped/painted the OEM black before I installed. Gaps are perfect, all the OEM aero and venting underneath is perfect. Once it was installed I had the whole car wrapped like you see now.

What wheels are these?

Nice car!
