After a few short weeks, my toy is finally back with a rebuilt transmission and a completely recalibrated suspension setup...



What a difference it makes to have it built and set up properly.

 

sweet! what did you do to the suspension?

 

Previous owner upgraded the car with a KW V3 coilover set, but didn't realize that in order to be able to properly align the car you must also change the control arms and use aftermarket adjustable toe links. Also added new adjustable drop links on front and rear.

 

got it! i just got mine back after a 5 month power build. suspension is next. need my jrz coil overs rebuilt but i have a 3 day event i have to make first. then back onto the lift!

 

Where did you have your trans rebuilt? It is something that is in my future.

Glenn is an amazing engineer and he specializes in these areas and have all the tools needed for the rebuild.

 

Congrats very nice! Do you have alignment specs to share. Would love to see what feels goo to you. Especially after an '11 M3!
