Need a Spark Plug Gapping Tool

I'm getting ready to change spark plugs and coils, but need to buy a spark plug gapping tool.

Any suggestions?

TIA,
Graeme

$5 feeler gauge is all you need. Just measure a few times to figure out the technique so you get repeatable results.

The one linked looks nice but I'm still using the SnapOn that my dad gave me 40 years ago lol.

I use this one and really like it. Simple and high quality plus low price.

Yes, I have it and it works great. The ground electrode is moved by turning the screw. The distance is set by putting your blade between the electrodes.

However, depending on the plugs you need to chose the blade one or two steps smaller than your desired electrode distance, because the ground electrode will rebound a litte bit.

Other than that, I see only benefits: all plugs are set identically. No tapping on the plugs, no stress on the electrodes. Clean and perfect work.

Thank you very much. I think I'm sold!
