AWD / Converted to 2WD thread

Just curious who out there has converted over to RWD and stuck with it, or reverted back.

going rwd will cut you .3-.5sec 60-130 !RWD is fun to drive but more prone to tailfish you in corner with fast spooling turbo so gota be careful to learn it one step at time

Mine is RWD with a Guard LSD and wouldn't have it any other way ! Definantely a handful but with the right wheel / tire combo can be a blast to drive.

Just run fat sticky tires and you won't have any problems at all. I love my RWD.

Agree 100% The stock AWD system is pretty inadequate anyway. Once you look at the parts after removing them it's pretty obvious that they are not capable of transmitting much torque and the viscous nature of the power distribution is also slow and imprecise.
The only time I notice more slippage is on 90 degree right or left turns under moderate power. Under any other conditions everything just feels better. I'm debating the purchase of a LSD pending my next track day experience. Firstborn is coming in 2 months so not likely
