I bought last week 996 GT2 with Switzer P800 Kit , the car is very clean and it have low mileage .

but it got boost leak and the first owner cannot solve the problem, so I purchased the car from him , I done a Pressure test no leak from the intercoolers & silicone hoses & the throttle body O ring , but So far the air is still leaking , so I took the engine of the body than I done for the second time Pressure test I found the air is coming out of the DRY SUMP OIL TANK from the air vent hose it show at the picture.

so how can I fix the problem , any one can help me ???

like tim said....its the check valve at the t-plenum...you must renew the t-plenum

remove the TB and check the t plenum behind...on top of the t plenum you find the check valve

^ replace the valve(s). n75 too, while you're at it. they're plastic, cheap and are often overlooked as the source of leaks

Sounds like you've found the problem.

Also, for future reference, you can just unbolt the AC compressor and leave all that in the car (literally leave it in the engine bay with something holding it), that way you don't have to discharge and then re-charge the AC system. Just makes everything go a bit smoother and quicker.

Never got a straight answer to this.

I believe my check valve that is built into the top of the plenum is busted.

Is the valve available separately or is it integral to the plenum that I need to replace the whole thing?

Thanks guys. I'm going to try an unorthodoxed strategy and just add another check valve inline. The IPD plenum has its checkvalve external to the plenum. No reason this shouldn't work for the stock plenum.

Not trying to be cheap, but I've heard mixed messages about the IPD plenum, and how porsches straight plenum is designed as such and tuned for harmonics between the two banks. The unreliable integral checkvalve is a short sighted design flaw in the OEM part.
