The GT775 runs a little more boost, around 1.4-1.5bar depending on RPM. It also uses better flowing components and has fewer parasitic losses, which are worth a good portion of the ~65whp difference between a typical GT700 and this car. This car actually ended up running a bit less boost than most 775 cars to keep within the limits of the rods and fuel pump, and it still ended up making more power.

Edit: We would have loved to have taken the car to the strip and grabbed some numbers, but the opportunity never came together and we didn't want to beat up on Tripp's new clutch too hard. We will be sure to publish any numbers he gathers with it though .

Great job as always guys. Really digging the entire project! Regarding the new injector dynamics ID725 did you install adapters? My Gt700 has the upgraded fuel lines and the high flow fuel filter but on deka 60LBS with the HED ignition coils. Is it worth changing out the injectors?
The injectors are actually shorter than the 60lbers, so we no longer modify the fuel rails to fit them. We run a plug-and-play adapter from the stock EV1 injector plugs to the USCAR on the IDs.

You would likely pick up a bunch of power mimicking this setup, and the cost for parts is not huge--the motor does have to come out to replace the injectors though. Shoot me an email if you'd like me to go through the details .

Thanks Joe! Todd's car has actually started going back together after years of donating parts to other shop projects. The old girl should be back up and running in a couple months, stronger than ever.

Yeah, it does remind me of of Todds old car, I think that's one of the reasons I chose these wheels, it looks awesome to me, and I am pretty conservative.
