You have a dealer in the US but i believe you would pay £3000 but no sales tax if you bought from the UK, its plug and play and everything will work ie dash display and computer etc, not sure about cruise control though

Do you have to bleed PS pump, or just refill it to the level?
I pulled everything, since was not sure how to do it the easiest way.

Bleeding the steering is a very simple process. See attach repair manual steps…But bleeding the slave properly is a longer process…

No. You unbolt the PS pump from the motor just like the A/C compressor. No bleeding or refill of any sort required. You are not breaking a connection or opening either system. Easy peasy...

That I knew, this is same for any car with hydraulic steering assist, I thought there was something else.
Clutch was a bit harder to bleed, mostly getting up there.
Refilling cooling system was the hardest, because I did not have vacuum pump at first.

Thanks!

shine a light into the spark plug holes and spin the motor, see if you find any pistons that are not moving.

engine is gone but it was working and had no missfire so might be a slight bent rod..!

for the oil filter, cut it at both ends and open it up like an accordion to check both side, it is easier to check this way.

K24madness is infamous around these parts
With bent rods the piston goes lower in the bore and hits the counter weights on the crank. That's likely the noise you heard. Knowing the boost you were running on 94+meth I feel confident that's what you'll find.

We went crazy hoping it was something simple like a lifter etc. Ours bent like noodles after one short run due to a setup error with the boost controller. One look at the logs after the noise developed pretty much told the tale.

Sorry to hear of your misfortunes. Kudos to dancing on the edge though. That's what living is all about!
