I like that he doesn't cut corners-uses quality parts and researches first= the way I like to do things.

Quick update. The A/C compressor has been pulled while engine is getting rebuilt and it weighs 16.8 lbs. When the front bumper comes off the front A/C radiators will come out to free up air flow through the main radiators thus improving engine cooling. I estimate they weigh about 3 lbs each. Refrigerant should be about 2 lbs for a grand total of 25 lbs for the A/C delete. I will get an exact figure and post it in the weight loss thread when the rest of the stuff comes out. A 996Cup belt and RSR pulley completes the conversion. The pulley will under drive the accessories by about 10% reducing drag and wear on the components. A return fuel line from the non-fuel cooler version of the 996TT/GT2 is used to allow removal of the fuel cooler itself. We are also removing the stock fuel filter from the engine bay to prevent heat soaking and installing a -6AN fuel line from the fuel pump going to the fuel rail. This will allow us to mount the fuel filter in the tunnel underneath keeping it cool and making it easy to change out. This A/C conversion is fully reversible if I ever wanted to do that as the lightweight aluminum lines will plugged and stay in the car. Their weight is negligible.

You run some great times dude!

Its fun watching you kill most modded GT3's without "owning" a Cup Car.

Cost is one thing but, its fun to run them down in a street car that can pass emissions!
The race is on! Let's see who's car makes it out of the shop first...
