Shattered window. How the hell!
Washed my car lastnight. Put it back in the garage. Rolled down the passenger window and hooked up a battery tender overnight and this is what I wake up to. WTF? Is it possible that the driver side door was in an odd position and the window indexed in the middle of the night?

Check over the window very carefully for any signs of an impact.
A pellet fired from a pellet gun or even a spring loaded center punch can do this to a window.
If you do not find any signs of an impact, then my WAG is what happened is because the glass is tempered and under a lot of stress the window just for some reason reached its breaking point, so to speak. Tempering somehow causes the glass to if it breaks to break up small duller pieces, not the deadly shards that say house window pane window glass breaks up into.
If the glass is not tempered properly what you see can happen. Rather rare though.
(When I made eye glass lenses I'd heat treat/temper the lenses. This involved putting the lens in an oven for a length of time then subjecting the lens to a blast of cooling air. One could see the "stress" in the lens from this by looking the lens with polarizing filters.)

Still a mystery to me. Couldn't find a "point of impact" at all. I'm going to say it was definitely due to being under pressure for some reason. The good thing is this is covered under auto insurance with no deductible in the state of Kentucky. Already have an appointment to have it replaced at 11 AM tomorrow.

I had a window shatter on me once for no reason. Sometimes it just happens.
