997 coil packs

If you want to save the hassle of trying to figure out if your plugs or coils need to be replaced, just bite the bullet now and get BBI coils. It will cost a little more now, but you will never regret the purchase.

Lowest prices for OEM parts anywhere on the net......... (lower then suncoast)

agree on the ecs/pelican and if you add suncoast to your list for oem parts youll always have whatever you'd need fast. i think i used bosch last time.
but the last suggestion about the bbi's is one i've pondered but little more. because at 900+ a set? just hasn't seemed like a wise spend, but they are supposed to help provide even "better" spark and may last the life of the car. i just never really think about coils, once they're fresh ...and in?... next lol

I replaced my "perfectly good" 997 coil packs with the BBI coils and I could not believe the difference in how much smoother the engine became with the BBI coils. I thought it was great before!

HI,,When I replaced my original coils with the 997 ones,, Sunset Porsche was had the best price,,800-346-0182...
Those are all you will ever need,, at moderate performance levels,,most wait until there coils go bad and when they replace them,, it is going to be a night and day difference then with any new coil then...

They are nice but I don't think the average stock setup needs to spend the extra money unless you have to money to burn....

I don't have many performance mods... Softronic tune and 70 mm exhaust. I bought the coils before the tune and exhaust. The change was remarkable with just the coils.
Most people change their coils as often as they change their plugs. 3 times and you've spent the same amount as the BBI coils. They are guaranteed for life so you wouldn't ever have to buy another set. If you plan on keeping the car a while, you would not be sorry.
