Great work! Really nice to see a new approach to a motor build on this platform. I was wondering if anyone tackled going higher compression with E85 on this platform and I'm glad to see this be the first and work out so well. It'll shine with those EFRs great choice there.

Nice build! Looking forward to the track update. Best place to identify the stuff that needs to be ironed out.

No broken records but we collected a lot of good data to compare the bigger intercoolers too (still running stock). The 305/30/19 nitto invo are pretty useless, not only could we not launch but TC was constantly intervening 1-4.

11.1@137 - 2.4 60ft (unable to launch on these tires without hopping) and according to proefi's logs, I spent 3.2 seconds out of throttle shifting some driver mod required along with traction and cooling.

Some 18's going on next with r888's and intercoolers.

Great traps. Once those 60 foots come down you will be low 10s. The intercoolers will obviously help.

I'd skip the r triple 8s if you are at all serious about getting a good ET out of it.

I keep telling my friends here at home, drag racing on street tires is like playing basketball in ski boots

Honestly unless a drag record is the goal I'd worry less about 60ft and more about maintaining traction down the track. Keep the trans in one piece, soft pedal it out of the hole, and use the rest of the run for gathering data. You already know how bad the IC get based on the runs, firm up the repeatability and watch the datalogs and trap speeds knowing you're not going to get some whopper of a ticket :-) You can tweak traction control, boost response by gear, and figure out all of the places that are choking the current build. You'll know which parts make a difference and which are eye candy. Might be nice to see if 1/4 inch larger piping or hoses really helps or if a particular part design bumps trap speed. Some of this you clearly get input on the dyno but time slips really help too. This seems a tough platform to drag race and a hat tip to those who do but is that really what you want to chase? If so axles and transmission ain't going to be happy!

Were you getting wheel hop? Is the car lowered?

Sean be careful with those street tires, that hopping will break more than Drag radials will. Change those tires and it's just time behind the wheel, cut that 3.2 sec in half and see where you're really at. Keep us posted

are you still AWD?

its all about sidewall when launching. you can do the 18" mickey, they work pretty good actually.

28" will be a tough fit. my 27.3" Mickeys on 16s were tight.
