AL Z is infamous around these parts
One more satisfied Markski customer

I had been having issues not passing my emission test (twice) due to cats not monitored issue. My car is an 02' TT with K 24, exhaust and tune from a tuner located in Florida.
I contacted Markski and he shared a wealth of information over the phone. Not once pushing his products.
I drove up to see him and he data logged a couple of pulls of my car.
Did not find any fault codes but he was able to notice some unusual stuff on the Florida tune.
He loaded one of his tunes and went back out for a couple of third gear pulls. WOW, what a difference from the Florida tune.
The car came on boost much quicker and pulled much stronger.
I thought my car was pretty fast before and it was, when you dont have anything else to compare it too.

Just to be on the safe side, although Markski's tune will not have any issues passing emissions. I had him load a stock oem tune and my car passed emissions with no problems.

I drove back to Markski the following day and had him re install his tune.
My car actually feels like a completly different car now. Has more power and is also easier to drive on the lower rpm's due to the boost coming on much quicker.
There is not much else I can add from what other members have said about his customer service qualities. He is passionate about the work hi performs and more then willing to help, even if you dont purchase anything from him.
I would highly recomend Markski. Tell him Al Z send you

Thanks you Markski, for taking the time ...
Al Z

Thank you for sharing your experience.

I've got an FVD's software stage2, but I'd like to buy billets turbo and FVD doesn't sell that kind of turbo, that's why I wrote to Mark. I don't think FVD's able to tune my software for billets.
I seriously think about buying its K16 billets kit. Prices are good and customers returns too.
Is your car better (than with your old tune) for acceleration's run or even for track too.
I don't practice runs, it's not in my european culture, I use my car for track and road, I don't only want it to accelerate well,, I want it to have good torque from the lower rounds.
Did you test your car on dyno with the 3 configurations?

I think the best answer for your question is:

http://911tuning.com/About-Us.html

You can find on his web site, "911tuning", a lot of good (and often the best! I can recognize a good websites when they sell Forge diverter valves for our cars! ) performance parts for your Porsche 996 turbo. He also sells software , IPD and TIAL products or Billets turbos.
And you will also find good prices and a nice guy who won't sell his good advices.
He often replies to technical/perfomance questions on 6speedonline.

here is the place for you 996 turbo man!

Thank you for your comment too. Did you have K24/26?
Did Markski tune your car with these turbos or other ones? Wich ones?
Did you test the car on dyno, acceleration runs, track or road? What is your use of the car? (1/4 miles, Track?)
Can you, please, tell more about the difference(s) beetwen The FVD and 911tuning tunes feeling etc...?
