The 997 turbos can be used on the 996 and wired in to work correctly.

The Uprights however will not work with the AEM unit. It is pulling the wheel speed data directly from the CAN system so it has no control over what it is sending out or receiving. So basically if you cant get it to work with the factory ABS CAN system than the AEM will not see it.

So no issues controlling the variable vane with the 996 flash? nothing funky in the 997 flash for it?

Nope just wire the inputs and outputs in like the 997 and activate it through the tables.
