Hey Craig, here is the link to it and the full specifications. The ID750 filter is manufactured by Injector Dynamics to Bosch Motorsport specifications and features the optional Bosch Motorsport integrated temperature and pressure sensor. It’s a very very slick set up, about $550. I’m currently using a separate fuel pressure sensor that I feed into Motec. With this filter we will be able to feed both fuel pressure and temp into Motec as I already have the wiring set up for it.

I’m going to mount it on the side of the fuel tank bulkhead in the trunk facing the brake master cylinder. I am in the process of installing the slightly larger flat bottom GT3 tank and there is a bunch of room to feed all the lines forward as the tank sits lower than the awd tank. The access to the tank lid is under the battery .

1.) I haven't had a 996 in well over a year and I still check in to read these posts... A+

2.) How do you even find out that these new parts are interchangeable? Crazy amount of research and calling Porsche Motorsport?

Porsche Motorsport will tell you absolutely nothing, zero, zip, nada. You give them a part number and they will sell it to you if you have a Motorsport account. They will tell you nothing with regards to application, you are on your own.

With that said, they key is knowing someone intimately familiar with building of Cup, RSR, and turbo engines to help you sort out what is truly interchangeable and what’s not. Having spares and disassembled engines on hand for comparison is very helpful. My guess is you’d be hard pressed to find more than one or two guys in the US that posess this knowledge and they keep it close to the vest. Getting to the bottom of it is very difficult and the information is invaluable as there are countless versions of these parts with very minute but oftentimes critical differences. Just with the IMS shaft alone, there are 5+ versions but only certain ones will plug and play. All of the Porsche Motorsport parts are 100% non refundable so once you pay of them, you're stuck with them. Choose wisely...
