God I love this car....

The car has gotten EVEN strong since the last time I posted about it getting stronger....
The car started at 0.7BAR stock, was at 0.9BAR when I first got the stage 2 from Stephen....about a month ago the car was hitting 1.0BAR consistant, and about 2 times SPIKED to 1.1BAR... Now in the last few days the car hits 1.1BAR like its no big thing!!! God I am loving this, car seems to get stronger by the minute!! Kudos to Stephen and Imagine Auto!!!

Evan,

It has everything to do with the computer learning your driving habits. Seriously, if you want to race your car at an event, you need to drive it hard immediately prior to the event. If you drive it like an old lady for awhile, it will respond like an old lady when you first put your foot into it.

I am aware of the learning nature of the ECU. Does anyone know what time/use criteria is needed to adopt the more aggressive performance?
In other words, is a single jaunt, say 1 hour for example, wherein the throttle is floored frequently, enough to invoke the most aggressive state of tune? If not, what actualy is required?

Ken,

Drive it the way you want to use it or how you want it to react. Two to three accelerations will make a noticable difference.

cjv...

All of us know that we shouldn't drive the car hard until we bring the car up to proper oil temp...usually this means not driving the car past 4k rpm (i keep it under 2500rpm) until the oil warms up. Does this mean that my car will always be in "grandma" mode???
