Who can do Machine work for new casings from Porsche?
Ordered Casings from Germany and they came without the Machine work for my 996tt? We ordered the Casings by part number and Porsche sent the casings without machine work. Any thoughts on what my options are?
also got any photos?
That is shocking. I hate to say it but without the engineering drawings with precise measurements, you won't be able to bring that anywhere close to how it should be. You will need some pretty exotic fixtures... Mind blowing they would sell blanks...

Hey guys
My bad lol. Anymore you can only find the 996 part number castings or the "Spanish crank case" found in the later models. There are some non superceeded vague listings for the older case and my Porsche reps helped me find it and give it a shot. Only 3 in Germany. Number matches casting with no supersession and no details. Hmmm...We wouldn't have known until we tried. Needless to say blanks showed up. Now we know. It was too good to be true and no one was sure. I do believe it was some sort of a mistake that fell through the cracks in the Porsche inventory database.
On to Plan B Danny. I'm on it bud and I'll do my best to set you up. Todd K put it best when I told him… "Make a nice coffee table?!"

Thanks, but I believe Sam came up with a good solution but I'll keep you in mind for sure
Don't really know, I got them through Sam so he's dealing with it. He's a good guy so you know he'll make it right
I've tried to PM you but not going through. I might need a Crank so if you have it available let me know. There was a lot of damage so mine might not be salvageable
I have a 996TT crank if you need one. Also pistons, liners, and oil pump..
