Anyone using AR design exhaust?
Anyone using AR design exhaust?
I had a 335 before and they were always deemed high quality products.
They are selling on ebay and seem pretty well priced for what they are, but I never hear much about them feedback wise.
Some days, I want a new exhaust (lots of drone) But I do have some anti drone pipes built I am going to try.

I have them. The 3" all stainless with vband 200 cel cats and straight pipe . Has held up well even when I got hit on the rear driver side. Only managed to crack the Vband weld to catalytic converter. AR took care of the vband repair for me. Very good customer service. Bought mine when they initially surfaced with their product line. I've been happy with their product for the last ~20 months of ownership.
"Speedtech" saids there are much better choices. That is always debatable. Have not seen testing of every exhaust offered for our cars out there to say which is "better" . I don't know of a lot of 6SO that have tried every exhaust out there on one car.

Ya I get the sponsorship issue. Why pay the money if it's not a good investment.
Although the word "better" doesn't define much.
For me, exhausts are partly subjective.
Better made?
Better materials?
Better flow?
Better sound? Quieter? Louder?
Better fit?
See? And you don't get it all. I was just wondering the first hand experiences.

Drone ? Much more than stock
... Compared to my buddies' K16 billet with Klein ? about the sameFlow.... farts and burbles like any other high performance exhaust I own
Sound.... Will say not the quietest exhaust I've ever owned to have a date and conversation @ 65mph on the freeway but I think my glasspack and hooker headers on my 351 windsor motor was louder. It is a sexy sound though
Fit ? Like a pair of victoria secret underwear
Which comes to materials: all stainless which patina nicely with right amount of hear
Oh, and she looks good with , with big twin tips and all

As for his status here, why pay to be a vendor if the exhaust is selling fine without it?
AR makes nice products at a nice price point. From doing research it seems the same 2 vendors constantly ready to bash others or throw some unsolicited advertising in whenever they can.
s65e90, you seem overly sensitive and misunderstanding of my post. Where did I claim our product is the best? I said "IMO" there are better choices, which could include our products or others and I stand by that.
I also said "do your homework" because as a vendor, I did not want to speak about a competitors product on a forum like this, but thorough exhaust research and due diligence can be your friend. I can tell you that I have seen so many customers purchase an expensive exhaust product, only to call me a week later and tell me they made a mistake and ask if there is anything they can do to fix it, etc. Believe it or not, some of our customers have previously tried up to 5 exhausts searching for the right one! That's unfortunate.
I talk to many people every day about exhausts, their sound, their positives and negatives...basically everything about them. I also make it a point to hear a huge variety of exhausts being in this business and I have heard most of them. So I am in a unique position to have an extremely good understanding of what a typical exhaust customer will probably like or dislike.
Again, I was simply informing the original poster that based on everything I know, I feel there are better options, in an effort to help him make a great choice for himself. Nowhere did I suggest he purchase our exhaust, display pictures of it or anything else. This was meant to be a helpful post for the OP and nothing else. I'm not sure how long you have been on this forum, but I have been on it since it began and originally, I was not a vendor, but an enthusiast member sharing knowledge for the betterment of all, i.e. to help others. This post was more in that spirit than anything else. I hate to see people make expensive exhaust mistakes and I see it almost every day.
This is all I will say about this, as I do not wish to debate the merits of my free advice...

Stilov, I had their exhaust on my car for about a year. I too was one of the first to have their exhaust like RX. The quality is bar none to the few exhausts I've had on my turbo. By far the cleanest welds I have ever seen! Customer service is excellent and sounded great! If your looking for sound xflow exhausts are fine but they aren't great for max power if you're trying to squeeze every pony out of your ride. I have a sound clip vid of it somewhere on here I will look for it for you and post it. But yes for the money they are a great xflow exhaust!
Listen to this man's advice Stilov, he is being generous when he says "few exhausts". He has gone through several exhausts to find one that best suited him. I seen and heard his AR exhaust in person and it was great in both aspects.
