The Barbaric 996TT Build
You could put a zip tie around the fitting with a second longer one stretched and looped around the sensor body. Do that on both sides in an X so if the hose tries to pop it's held. Look like crap but might save things if that fitting lets go. I can't tell from the pics if that's the updated fitting or not, pretty darned sure the first fittings I got were NOT. I'll try to find those and snap a pic tomorrow evening. Think they're buried on my coffee table lol
Alright ... It's been a while since I've updated ... A lot has happened since ....
So when I picked up my car from Undercover on Christmas Eve.. I flew down 2 days prior to see the beast on the dyno... Unfortunately we had a few set backs (god dam boost leaks ) Garth worked late on my car trying to get it warped up So I make it back to Toronto for Christmas ... Garth did his best to get my car up and running and tuned it conservatively at the time ... We made aprox 620 on a Mustang dyno ....
Long story short , I flew over Chris Delgado from Texas ... who is one of the baddest tuners in the game today ... I had him collaborate with Garth to get my car properly tuned...
End result :
Pump 94oct: 729whp and 634 tq @22psi
E85: 871whp and 827tq on a dyno tune ... As you can see from the dyno graph my car was slipping o the dyno as the tires were not hooking ... Based on the proefi we made approximately 940ish whp @ 26psi. I will take my car back to a forever dyno with bigger rollers to see exactly what it made so time this month .. For now I'm enjoying the g-force ..

Car looks gorgeous and is making some serious jam!
Both numbers are impressive, but 720+ on 94 octane is very nice to have!
Do you have the dyno graph on your pump 720+ setting?
Have you been out on cruising on the streets this spring/summer yet?
I already have 2500km+ this year and about 900km of that is on E85!...LOL! We need to arrange a cruise soon!
Great job again on your machine!

My car is ready man and been driving it daily in the evenings.. let me know when theres a meet and ill try to make it.. been building the car for almost 2 years now so its time i drive the thing...
I did quite a bit of research and asked a ton of questions before buying any part... you where helpful as well...
I wanted to make this car real practical for street/cursing around the city... and maintaining the stock feel of a 996.. and I got to tell you... I have achieved just that...
My car idles better than stock, even with the massive 1500cc injectors on pump gas and e85..
Very happy how my car played out... gotta say these Tail Alpha 3073's are pretty badass..
