Evoms, Proto, bbi, GT3RS all underdrive the pulley
Underdrives the engine accessories at the OEM specified range. ~15% (Same as the OEM GT3/RS)

The harmonic balancer doesn't underdrive anything and its main performance benefits of using the proper harmonic damper are considerable. A properly functioning damper stabilizes camshaft and ignition timing. A reduction in twist at the end of the crank also stabilizes the valvetrain. The result is more power and longer engine life.

I have also been contemplating on getting a crank pulley, I was going to go with the EvoMS, then I saw few post from Esmotor and they run the harmonic balancer pulleys. Both seem to be reliable resources. I do not want to do the RS one because I do not want the underdrive, I want the alternator driven at full speed.

There was a pretty good discussion on the topic recently. We also don't recommend using a harmonic balancer on the crank where available especially if/given many end up with single mass flywheels on the car. Here's a link to that discussion over in the 997 section:

The ATI harmonic dampener is a dampener, not just a crank pulley. All the others mentioned are just crank pulleys. Porsche's design was to use a dual mass flywheel to act as a bit of a dampener on everything but the RS engines. The problems show on 997.2 RS engines with the variocam actuator bolts backing out, and on 4.0L stroked builds with oil pumps being eaten.

The Dampener has been on my 4.2L GT3RS for 2 years now without issue. It's also saved Champion Motorsports 4.2L GT3RS from repeated oil pump issues.

If you're not using a dual mass flywheel, the dampener is cheap insurance on a very expensive engine...

Contact me on rennlist or via PM. I'm not a vendor on 6 speed and don't want to get busted!

Yes sir !!
Better safe than sorry. Thanks for the input.
Jamie already shipped it out lol. Garth should have it by Wednesday.

As for the oil dipstick , I like the idea of being able to check it manually, but I'll have my Motec dash in the car that's constantly watching my oil pressure ... And the oil measuring sensor on the cluster .

They just got them today. And going to work on them ASAP.

Everything else is almost complete.

Garth is going to fabricate my BBI exhaust to operate as a Valve cut off .. Similar to yours .

How are you running the oil pressure sensor? In place of the factory sensor we installed a MoTeC oil pressure sensor which then then feeds the signal to the Motec display. The factory sensor is heavily dampened and not very accurate and I don't believe it would integrate with Motec anyway. How are you getting Motec to monitor the oil measuring sensor in the cluster?

The Motec dash would be getting all its data from the PROEFI, the PROEFI has its own oil pressure sensor..

The Motec dash, gets wired to the CAN bus channels on the ECU, and programmed .

I guess what I'm asking, where is the proefi oil pressure sensor getting its oil pressure input? Are you tapping a separate source on the engine somewhere or removing the factory sensor and installing the proefi sensor in its place.

Yes, the Motec is a CAN bus based system. I'd have to check but I just don't recall oil level as one of the CAN outputs hence my question how you plan to monitor and display the oil level dash measurement with Motec, if I'm understanding it correctly.

I'll send Garth a msg and find out.. But I'm pretty sure they tap into a different place .

Sorry , I was wrong.. The stock oil pressure sensors stays. No other oil pressure sensor gets installed. I got it confused with my setup in my Skyline GT-R.
