if it were me (and god knows i never do what i should!) i would wait until winter when tim's work slows slightly and your not driving the car as much. its worth the wait to have him do the build and allows you to drive the entire summer and gather parts and research all summer. just an idea
having said this i have 2 drivelines in the garage and 2 rolling chassis in the driveway with body panels at a shop for painting!
After not being able to drive, start, sit in my car for the last 6 months I would agree 1000% with this. Unless you can knock out the build quickly (less than 1 month total) with a good tune...I'd say enjoy the car over the summer!!! I can't stand when it's nice out and I have to look at my car sitting in the garage....mods or not! Either way good luck!!

tell me about it! i think i have put 2000 miles on mine since last june when it was down for 6 months the prior. i was going to drive it all summer then another car fell into my lap and now this is going on!
LOL oh man!! At least my motor is still in the car! Better get crackin!
plan was to put at least one driveline back into a car today. then i woke up with a knot in my shoulder blade you could play baseball with chiro and therapy and orders not to be wrenching today killed that idea
BLKMGK I think my charts above are apples, oranges, apple sauce and tangerines but give some basic spool up and power ideas which was the reason for them.... basic timing on E85 makes up a good portion of the gains vs other gas at the same boost but I hear you re other engine work.
For now I am looking at a basic addition as Tim is mega busy and I do not want to leave my car for months on a build.
Ah, charts are fine for checking out spool, I was just echoing what protuning was saying is all. I look forward to running E85 one of these days soon! Going to stick with my distinguish old school modded K24 turbo and see how Sean fares with the EFR, I think I want a set of those
I've been running the following set up for 6 years now:
Tial alpha series 3071
83lbs injectors
5bar
EPL tune
Water/Meth
Cargraphics Exhaust
Stock internals, stock ICs, stock inlets, etc.
Peak power on the dyno was 724awhp/776ftlbs which if i recall correctly was 1.5-6 bar and had a mix of 93 and 109 in the tank.
I've probably put >35k miles on the car and probably 15-20 track days. No issues.
Perfect, that is brilliant.... so if I run a lower boost set up on either 93 oct and some E85 or E85 at a much lower boost I should be under those numbers for torque.

What level rpms do you ramp the boost up to max ?
Also very interested in this data. HP is a "calculation" of torque based on RPM. I think the potential for high-hp on stock engines is there, its just needs to be up top.
What really impresses me is the fact that its holding together with the stock intercoolers and inlets. Methanol is a hell of a... dru.... fuel. There is so much potential. I'd like to know a little more about how your meth is set up, as well as your boost!

Okay now I'm truely impressed... That is serious rod-bending torque.
I dyno'd my car at 680WTQ on a mustang dyno (one of EPL's dealers). When I saw that number I **** bricks and had todd tune out more boost in the bottom end.
Maybe you just have a miracle engine or something. Thats why I'd like to see the data-logs
