Front GT3 bar fitting advices please

I am fitting a set of 996 GT3 sway bars on my Turbo S.
Rear seems to be straight forward however the front bar looks different in shape . I have some Rennline curved adjustable drop links. No risk it touch anywhere ?
Anyone has some pictures or link with pictures of that Front bar fitted on Turbo ?
Thanks.

Would you not be better fitting GT2 bars? Your car is a lot heavier than a GT3, I have seen numerous turbos with GT3 bars and they didnt hit anywhere.

996 GT2/GT3/Cup front and rear bars are all the same. Installing the front bar on a TT with the front drive axles will be a challenge...

OK well thats interesting, a friend of mine runs a Porsche only tuning shop, one of the biggest in the UK and also 'runs' a cup car for a customer, I asked if he had any GT3 bars and he said I should run Gt2 bars !!!!

I know rear sway bar on GT3 and GT2 are the same.
For the front I think they are the same too but need to double check.

The front GT3 bar looks much more stiff compare to the TT. 5 adjustment holes on it.

Your shop is unfortunately wrong. They may be thinking of the 997GT cars where the rear bar is stiffer in the GT2 compared to the GT3.

Maybe, so would you recommend the GT3 bars, on track I feel like its going to fall over (bilstein coilovers and lowered)

I think the GT2/3 bars are excellent and offer a lot of adjustment. Porsche got it right with these and I would choose them over any of the aftermarket offerings out there. The only caveat is if you still have the front axles installed as the front bar will be a real challenge to fit as naturally it's not designed to clear any axles on the GT2/3/cup cars. Is it doable? Probably, but the results may not be optimal simply due to the fact that the sway bar where it attaches to the drop link will be quite a bit higher due to the fact that it will need to clear the axles. If the attachment point is higher, naturally the drop link will need to be shorter which in turn will create more preload as you turn the wheels lock to lock. I would say that you will need to use Tarett extended drop links but you will need coil overs for that. As you can see, problem A leads to B which leads to C, you get the point... The only way to find out for sure is to try it to find out for sure...

If you have bilstein coils and RWD, than it will be an easy bolt on. These bars will help control some of the roll you are experiencing from the under sprung bilstein coil overs.

I did fit GT3 rear sway bar + 9products rod links, very easy.
I kept my stock front bar and did fit the curved Rennline drop links....preload on full lock was really a lot. At the end I did fit my stock drop link. I need to get more infos on those.....
