I KNEW that the stage 2 was good for 500bhp+ (probably closer to 520bhp), but you are always left wondering until you see it proven. That was impressive!

Nice video. I've been researching mods for my turbo and and its great to actually see what these mods can do when put to the pavement.

Suprised the chipped car pulls like that on an x50.

 

It's not too difficult to punch it in 2nd and then shift to 3rd...followed by a shift to 4th...and then a final shift to 5th. Unless the driver missed the 2nd > 3rd shift, the 996TT stage 2 pulled the whole way at a rather consistent pace. It makes sense as the X50 runs a 118-119mph trap while a stage 2 should be in the 122-123mph area give or take.

 

He knows what he's doing. I've driven with him as well as raced him before with a different car (my now sold supercharged M3).

Also...we ran from a 3rd gear start as well last night...and the result was exactly the same. I didn't post that vid becuase the camera man had zoomed the camera in way too far and it was an even worse video than this one.

Also...keep in mind guys...my car *seems* like it's very fast for a Stage 2. I put 1-2 car lengths over and over again on a 460 rwhp Viper about three weeks ago....which I posted about in the below thread:
