Your close enough for me to drop mine off lol. After some conversation today I think a lime green would stand out really well.

Finally had some time today and got 2 calipers coated. Before masking, I out gassed them one more time and hit them with an iron phosphate coating which cleans/etches in one step. Once they were masked, it was time to hang and shoot the powder. Here are pics of them cured/cooling. The color is Argento and a great metallic gunmetal. Will be finishing up the other two tomorrow and getting the stencils applied before rebuilding with new seals/boots.

Those look great! Will powder coating hold up to track duty?

Nothing really hold up to heavy track duty in the long run...

Interesting thread, I just ordered some two stage epoxy paint from G2usa in colour matched Porsche 'speed yellow'.

The paint is mixed with a hardener that once mixed hardens within 4 hours, so you have to use it all or order more.

Apparently once fully cured it can withstand temps of 900F. I've ordered black high temp vinyl decals which I plan to cover with a high temp clear to prolong the life.

Also rebuilding the o rings and dust boots, which cost from memory $200 inc of caliper lube.

I am not sandblasting them, too afraid of some shop who only do Honda civic calipers for ricers once in a blue moon stuffing up my piston bores. We don't have any speciality shops in Australia. too small of a population.

G2usa said all you need to do is scuff the factory finish with sandpaper so the epoxy can get a grip on it.

I will keep you all updated!

I have used the g2. Make sure the calipers are free of any dirt and debris or it won't stick. It's also really thin so approx 4 coats are needed and once it's mixed it's game on so be ready
