After pulling the old ones off and really seeing how bad the finish had gotten, I'm sure any color will be better than chipped faded pink ;0) I really like the argent, but having a silver car opens up a lot of options to add just a little "custom" look. Based on the quality of the parts in the pictures on this thread I know I'll be very happy.

mine were pretty bad i'm sure JS could attest to that . too many willow springs sessions lol.

but i didn't want lots of different color combos on the car since its already blk/silver. the gray wheels/calipers are just different enough to notice "hey, somethings different" without causing me any visual dissonance. it's understated but the combo looks ( and IS ) "new". its working for me.

I like the black and silver combo. I added black stone guards on my 997 s Cab. My 996tt is all silver so a little color behind the wheels should be a subtle custom touch for me ;0)

yeah, its working for me. its a real clean subtle look. that matches well.

now my only issue is i installed those anti squeal things. ( whatever they're called?! ) and first time ever now my brakes squeak. my tech probably put em on backwards

i'll try a couple 60mph hard stops and see if i can unglaze em as i DID re-use the mostly new oem pads. no biggie either way. they look perfect lol

These are my Cayenne calipers that I had refinished in speed yellow. They were done in epoxy based paint.

Paint them. The factory finish on Brembo calipers is paint. Brembo will tell you they don't approve powder coat due to its insulating properties over paint. I think that's BS as the difference of paint vs. PC has got to be so minor it can't make much of a difference but there is nothing wrong with a quality epoxy based paint finish. I've had it on several calipers without issues.
