One of the frustrating parts about swapping wings on our cars is having to take out the inserts from the stock wing to place on an aftermarket one. I ran into the issue of one of my inserts begging to strip internally when I tried to remove it. I tried to contact Mish_Mish to see if he was still making his but he hasnt been on in months.

I looked at his old thread(https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-hex-bolt.html) and am going to see if I can find those fittings he used. If I can, would others be interested in having these made? Im not a vendor and this isnt a group buy, Im just trying to see if I can get this done if others want some as I think this is going to be a pain to get done and dont really feel like doing it again if I can actually pull it off.

Also, if anyone knows which adapter he started off with, that would be great.

 

We could probably have them made in a single piece of aluminum if you needed. I would just need one for reference to have it scanned.

 

Where are you located in AZ? One of them I can get out so I could drop it off to get scanned. It probably isnt a huge demand but I think many people would opt to pay 50-80 bucks for these than risk hurting their stock spoiler.

Update - BMR finished the measuring of the piece and I believe they are working on the fab now. I think they said they are a couple of weeks out on finalizing it.

 

I would also be interested, mine are stripped and i have been looking for a while. They are part of the wing blade> I have contacted Porsche of North America, Dismantlers, my dealership etc. Its like looking for GOLD.

Yeah, thats my understanding from the other threads. BMR did a full scan of the insert that I gave them from my wing. They are going to let me know when they have a set done so they can test them out on my aftermarket wing for fitment. Its probably going to be at least another week or two though.
