So this morning I pop into work to pick up the 911 and put a new map in for Santa Pod (drag strip) and run with octane booster, I put the new map in and go to fire the car, nothing, nada, try again same result. Back in the office and as im emailing the mapper I get a text, its from my ex of 26 years, she is a bit of 'witch' in a nice way, twice she told me not to do something and the consequences were dire when I ignored her, she also said she 100% knew I would not die when I had my accident when all the surgeons said no hope.

So it says 'I need to tell you something', what?, you are going to have a crash and this time you will not survive!(in 2012 I crashed a Hayabusa, badly, died 3 times in the road, 1 month coma, broken femur in 2 places, both lungs punctured and ribs broken,chest bone and collarbone shattered and liver in 2 pieces)How do you know? I just do, please do not drive any cars for a few days, use a van, the crash is in a car.

Now had the car started I had to go out and log it and need to be up around 150+mph, the mapper replies and says no reason the car wont start, ive been through the map changed one thing, input map and car runs. i cancelled my trip and hotel to Bedford and im not even going to Brands Hatch on Weds, am I mad?

 

Why chance it= there are other outings.

Sometimes fate just happens, if you did go after the warning you'd be twitchy and paranoid anyway so why risk it? I once missed death because my Supra stalled at a light, just as I restarted a fully loaded car carrier blew through the red in the turn lane a foot from my bumper. No stall and I'd have been creamed. You've cheated death once, why feel silly about skipping a risk? Certainly live each day as your last but look at this as making her happy and skipping a weekend feeling jumpy. Now, go fix the car and get it started then take a van home lol

No such thing. There is no sixth sense. You're car didn't start because something was wrong.

 

Perhaps, but he'll be worried and stressed and risks upsetting her if he ignores the warning. Ex or not he obviously still feels some connection so why risk upsetting her - she already felt freaked enough to reach out and contact him. The car not starting doesn't have to enter into it and can be his excuse not to go while he figures it out. I've learned to listen to that little voice in my head, listening to someone else's doesn't cost anything.

 

That is pretty freaky. I'd do the same, stay home and cancel everything. This reminds me of a movie Final Destination.

 

1. File a restraining order
2. Change you're phone number
3. Don't track it as you're paranoia may cause over thinking.
4. Tell her to save her doom and gloom for someone else that's why she's an ex.
5. Ask her for winning lotto numbers.
6. Ask Her who was behind the jfk assassination.
7. Tell her to quit watching final destination movies.
