Its all done !! well, for now....
Just when I thought it was all done,,,,, who was I kidding???
Car is booked in on Monday for the following.
Repaint bonnet, front guards, mirrors, panel behind driver’s door lower section including air intake surround, (not front bumper bar as its clear wrapped), All pitted from driving to close to most cars ;-)
Headlights
Refurbishment, they're faded and pitted.
Dip Stick & oil tube
More reliable than the electronic one plus you can see the condition of your oil at a glance.
Most of this was decided with the help of John (Pwrdhound), thank you John.
Wish my car good luck guys.
Car is booked in on Monday for the following.
- Evoms diverter valves
- Silicone F-hose
- Gear linkage spacer kit.
- Monoball bearings x 4
- Adjustable solid bushing front LCA, already have the rear ones.
- Test system for vacuum leaks.
- Set front & rear Eibach sway bar full soft now that monoballs & solid bushings are going in. John, good idea for street use? I find full stiff front & medium rear setting too stiff for daily. Eibachs are stiffer on lowest setting than the ROW sport that I had on previously.
- Replacement windscreen, Its all pitted.

How may holes are on the eibach sways Jim? I'm not sure setting them full soft will soften the ride much. Sways mainly limit the body roll of the car in turns. I would soften both front and rear by one hole and see what that feels like. I would instead leave the sways where you had them if you liked the balance and soften your shocks instead. That way you are making the shocks more compliant while keeping body roll in check with your sways.
There are 3 holes each, I currently have the front at full stiff and rear in the middle. Car feels very planted and balanced, mostly its ok but noticed they are quite stiff and jarring over larger bumps compared to the ROW ones. I have my shocks set in the middle rear and one off middle towards soft in the front. I guess its a compromise.
