Why so much hedging Buddy? Take a few seconds to clock some runs, which I am sure you have already done. Why not let us know. It would be fun to see if a "beast" is really so much faster at certain speeds than a much lower powered car. You could do a 0 -100 time on your way to work. You have been bragging that your car is sooooooo fast for months now. I am not arguing whether it is or not, but, give us some numbers and let's see.

Could it be that your car is all show and the numbers really don't transfer to the pavement? Only you can show us which it is. A few months ago you were chopping at the bit to take your car out and clock it at different speeds. What happened? Results not what you expected? If you're going to talk the talk...well, you get my point.

Please post another excuse as to why you can't.

I won't hold my breath.

Why don't you take him up on his offer?

I doubt he would allow me to hook up my scanner and clock his time and speed. But, if he is game I am down in Western Indiana often. We could have him hook up the scanner and take a run from a dead stop to 150 on I90/94. Then we would have all the data we need. I think he wants race my little old 3.4 though. I don't know why...I have never claimed to have more speed than he does.

I hope he doesn't think I am looking for a fight. I only want him to tell us the performance of his car. For some reason he likes to brag about a piece of paper that shows XXX hp, but is suspiciously quiet about what performance that translate into.

I doubt he has a problem w/ it. Reason he most likely doesn't have times is he hasn't gone tot he strip and doesn't a scanner to clock times w/. Most people don't. I don't see any reason why buddy would hide his times.

I agree w/ you though, i'd love to see some times for his car, been to long

I have nothing to hide, I am totally down for this! Like Hotrod said most people don't have the fancy scan tools or GPS accelerometers. I also have not had time to go to the dragstrip. Something about 4 kids and a wife that keeps me busy.

Cool. So is it diffucult getting around town towing those four fans? I mean, based on your results, you need to artificially cool the intercoolers, radiators and engine compartment in order to claim those numbers..right?

I guess if you only drove on roads where there was a 200 mph+ cool breeze all the time, you wouldn't need the fans.
Jeez, I was just showing how setup makes all the differance. If you think a full power run in a hot garage with no air flow is real world, more power to you. pun intended

I use a MAHA LPS 3000 All Wheel Drive Dynamometer at Advances Motorsports Solutions for my Audi in Carson California. Many local Porsche guys take their car there and all of us swear it is the best dyno out there.

The web-site gives a good overview and can be reached at this url:

Good Luck
