anyone is using Sea Sucker Ski Racks ?
haha nah, that is pretty cool - i use my 4runner's racks
it's the other people on the mountain i would worry about w/ the 996tt.
i think the rebranded porsche ones are made by Thule and i've heard those are quite nice as well.

Some good rack advice here: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/t...+911&mid=35969
I'm not sure i'm a fan of adding pressure/weight to glass on front and back. Our cars have a provision for mounting up a rack... why not use it?

Just went through this decision process myself. A buddy I ride bicycles with has the SeaSucker set up for his Panamera and likes the flexibility of the set up. I talked to other folks who had mixed reviews on how confident they were in the system. In the end, I opted to go with the factory rack which I just ordered thru Suncoast. If nothing else, I know the Porsche rack system has a fair resale value and seem to sell quickly on the market.
Someone try it please. The convenience of this setup is interoperability between vehicles,You can add and delete cars when ever you want. The OE roof racks are not an quick and easy install and removal
My neighbor runs SeaSucker on his Lambo and GTR. Other friends use it on their normal cars for bikes and snowboards. Looks like a very good system. I used the factory roof rack for my 996 and liked it.
If you want a system that you can use on any car, SaSucker, if you're just looking for the 996, go OEM.
