Is it not just a loose hose?, ie. can't you just remove it? might just be my picture perspective...like someone just left a random hose in the engine bay...only thing it looks like is the coolant tank overflow drain hose
just saved the pics and used 'paint' to draw on them

Really stupid question, How do you draw on photos that would have help me a lot

No not a loose hose I tried to highlight where it connects with the gold solid line. could it be a fuel return something? I tired to circle it with the retouch pen.
The gold hard line you are showing the hose connected to, is typically the fuel return line (see the red circled tube in the drawing below).
I have seen it in a DYI for engine removal, when it looked exactly like your car (with no threaded fitting) and connected to another hard line on the chassis. My car, the pictures posted earlier by another member and the drawing below all show the line with threaded (hex) fittings.
Either way, I believe the hose you are pointing to in your drawing is a fuel line.
Got it, Thanks for your help! I should get a small hose clamp below the split to keep it from getting worse until I can replace it. No signs of any leaking yet.

That's weird it would be just a hose pushed on to a hard line with no clamps even that's why I thought it was some sort of vac line.
It's a return line, so it wouldn't be as stressed. Still seems strange, but I have see. It like your car before.
Yep return line and I found it's not split rubber hose it's a solid line all the way though, it just has a rubber coating to protect it in the engine bay. So where it looks split it's not connected there but that just where the rubber coating stops.
Thanks for everyones effort trying to figure out what I was talking about.
