Bilstein Rebuild Service

Not sure if some of you ever rebuild the factory shocks on your ride.
Bilstein "used " to rebuild them, as of late they no longer offer this service. There's a few that currently offer this service. Here's a few : Elephant in the bay area - California , Glenn Yee Motorsports in San Dimas California.
Fyi for those that want to rebuild / change the current pressure in the shocks.

some are worth it, some not. if its just b6 or "sport b8's" then just buy new. ( think roughly x73 w sway bars etc..) those are "good enough" for what 90% of what foks do with these that have license plates. bilsten in SoCal still does rebuilds/revalves the gt3 bits though they're getting old, they'll rebuild the damper w new springs is what i'm told very recently

Where's the address for Bilstein in SoCal? If you're thinking of the Bilstein site in San Diego. .they no longer offer this service.

Yup time to get it done. Typically what most do to 'customize' GT2/GT3 dampers is get a different valve stack(tighter flow) installed when rebuilding to be optimized for stiffer springs. Going 'beyond' that, it's most likely more cost effect to buy new dampers from Ohlins, MCS, KW,JRZ, Bilstein Clubsport etc..
I just ordered Ohlins for my GT2, putting my original Bilstein's on my dad's 6TT

If you track the car heavily a 2-way Ohlins PSi/Raceline set up may be more what you are looking for.
Thanks for the information provided, I was curious on knowing which option were available for stock units. However im more interested on rebuilding them to stock conditions. I dont track my car really!!

Performanceshock can you qoute me for rebuilding / refresh all four dampeners??
