Who is running Bilstein B8 shocks with H&R springs?

I hope this isn't a dumb question, but I was wondering if the B8 shocks make the car lower even if you use stock springs? I have a 997tt with stock shocks and H&R springs. I think the suspension is on it's way out since the car feels like it's floating and sways on the highway. The height it's at now is ideal for me but I'm worried that it will drop it further if I use the b8's in conjunction with the H&R springs.

Some dampers the perch is lower which lowers the car more. I know for at least koni they tend to make the car lower

true. b8's are lower than say b6 presumably because the b8 has a minimally shorter piston stroke. so presumably it would lower the car *a bit* more than the oem dampers. but the b8 is designed to be used on a lowered car.

I think thats one of my bigger worries. I don't want the car any lower than it is now.

I stood the B8s up next to my OEM dampers when I swapped them out and the spring perch was the same height. I've never even seen a damper (non-coilover) that had a different perch height than the OEM one it was replacing and I've owned Koni yellows.
