I've wanted an Accessport ever since they were released for our cars anyway. Maybe this is the time to get one and go MAFless....

Find the problem don't mask it first.
Then find a good tuner that will help you all along with future issues and or upgrades. Software is software. As you can see, these things don't always go as smooth as one assumes. Money and time spent can be saved if you pare up with the right partner.
Good luck
Markski

What does ABS/PSM have to do with a MAF? I went through 4 MAFs on my previous Porsches. 3 on my 996 C2 and one on my Boxster. Never had any ABS failures or warnings, or PSM. Actually on my '99 C2 is was "traction control" which was incorporated with the ABD or active brake differential. It had an OFF/ON switch on the dash and was the predecessor to the PSM.

Because when the maf blows the abs doesnt get a full signal and cuts the abs and psm on.

MAF is part of engine load calculation, which PSM needs to know in order to make its own calculation
