I was referring to: "...your torque is around 180hp..."

 

Meaning from 3k to 4k rpm. The torque is 180 torque on pwdrhound from that range.

The OP is 300 torque in that range which is not good and timing is being pulled.

 

Torque is hp? You do realize that torque is not measured in hp?
That is what I meant.

 

Sorry i just put it at the end of the numbers but yes i know its not hp its just torque.

 

Or it could be ft-lb. Or Nm. Or a variation on distance/force units.

Dude! Chill out! I never said you were not a tuner. Never once did I have anything negative to say about you.
You could be the best tuner in the world. I just happen to be working with someone else.

I'm always open for opinions. The tuner who I am working with has definitely recommend installing injectors and going back to stock FPR. We are going to do a custom tune when the injectors are installed. I do not want to blow my car up so I am happy to hear ideas.

 

I think what 996 was getting at is be very careful with the low end torque on the tune as that is the weak point when you get into heavier mods with the car.

Were just telling you your tune is not good thats all. You can tell its leaning out and your timing is being pulled. You need to lower your torque way down also.

 

This pull was a definite baseline to gather data we did not dare turn the boost up at all and my tuner is conservative. Before I run it at the wanna go fast half-mile event in Virginia it will have new injectors and be back on the original FPR and a custom tune. My tuner did highly complement Kevin and his tune!
