Ive seen a lot of threads on the RWD conversion but cant find one on doing the conversion with a Tiptronic. Please help direct me or maybe help with what to do if its pretty much doing the same thing as manual. Without the LSD. Any positive and helpful input is greatly appreciated. Im running about 800 hp and have hear alot of good things about the conversion.

I just simply pulled out the front driveshaft. No dash lights and the PSM still kicks in when/if the rears break loose (while it's turned on). At 800hp, you'll definitely want to add a set of sticky tires.

Who built your trans?

Mines a tiptronic as well. I left all of the AWD components in place and just pulled out the front driveshaft. I don't see an issue with pulling the front diff, axles etc, I just wanted to have the ability to go back to AWD with ease. The rear is an open diff so be prepared to be traction limited at that power level.

So are you saying that the traction control will for sure kick in. Or with the PSM off. Will it still kick in.
Anyway to fix that. Or any ideas.

On my car with my power level, the PSM works as it should while on and does not kick in while it is turned off. I'm probably around 450rwhp so it may be much more noticeable to you when its on/off.

Just remove all the components. It won't affect PSM. BUT, add an LSD if you do because a tip with only one wheel having traction, you're asking for a disaster. Ask me how I know.

Who sells tip LSDs? A tip without AWD would not work well without LSD, but I have never seen anyone for sale. That would sure fix alot of issues.

Wavetrac and guard LSD's are for the 6 speed manual, not the TipTronic.
